Copy the 12 pictures from the one grid onto the next one. The child has to copy the picture by marking the correct square using a cross. If the diagonal lines are still too difficult for the child, you can ask them to draw a circle instead. Once the picture is copied, the child can draw an outline around it, in order to assist with recognising the picture. This activity can be extended by using the picture as a basis for a free drawing to improve VMI
